The CCTV camera modelCAR-P1031HTIP from Comet Labs cumulates the advantages of several technologies :

Double cabling system : The BNC analog port is enabling a direct connection to a video monitor or to digital video recorder. The RJ-45 port is linking the video camera to your Ethernet network; you can access it directly from your favorite browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or later version recommended). The video camera is integrating a web server and can authenticate your ADSL line; you can connect it to an ADSL Modem without any need of a router.

The 230X zoom (23X motorized optical zoom and the 10X Digital zoom) are manageable via the web interface and via the RS-232 port (PTZ link). Using a video control keyboard, you can also manage this CCTV camera.

A night vision up to 100 meters with infra-red LEDs coupled with a patented optical lens to insure a uniform light all over the image. This patented technology permits to reduce the number of infra-red LEDs avoiding the usual overheating and cooling problem inside the housing.

Compliant with IP66 weatherproof standard, the camera can be installed Indoor or Outdoor. The housing is closed avoiding humidity problems.

This CCTV cameras is delivered with a DVR software for Windows© which can manage up to 16 video cameras simultaneously. You can create you own network DVR on a PC computer.

Equipped with a motion detector area system, you can automatically start video or pictures recording or thru e-mail sending. The video files and the pictures files can also be stored directly on a device (PC, FTP server, ...) connected into your LAN.
Powered by a 12 Volts DC external power adapter, these cameras are safe against vandalism: the power source will not be interrupted by a short circuit and the other cameras will continue to work.
A Power-over-Ethernet adapter is available in option.
