True surveillance video cameras, the model CAR-R300IP from Comet Labs cumulates the advantages of analog and digital world.
It is equipped with a double cabling system. The BNC analog port is enabling a direct connection to a video monitor or to digital video recorder. The RJ-45 port is linking the video camera to your network; you can access it directly from your favorite browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or later version recommended). The video camera is integrating a web server and can authenticate your ADSL line; you can connect it to an ADSL Modem without any need of a router.
This videosurveillance camera is delivered with a DVR software for Windows© which can manage up to 16 video cameras simultaneously. You can create you own network DVR on a PC computer.

Equipped with a motion detector area system, you can automatically start video or pictures recording or thru e-mail sending. The video files and the pictures files can also be stored directly on a device (FTP server, ...) connected into your LAN.

To insure a 24 hours vision even in the darkness, this video camera is equipped with an Infrared LED system which is subject to a pending patent technology.
The night vision is clear on the entire picture and can see objects and people up to 30 meters far. The association of patented optical and infrared technologies is reducing drastically the heat generated and is avoiding the need of fan cooling and heaters in the housing when the video cameras are used outdoor. By keeping the video cameras in a stable and closed environment, you are removing the problems of housing humidity which is the worst nightmare of electronic components.

The CAR-R300IP video camera is compliant with IP66 weatherproof standard and is equipped with a sun cap.
Powered by a 12 Volts DC external power adapter, these cameras are safe against vandalism: the power source will not be interrupted by a short circuit and the other cameras will continue to work.
A Power-over-Ethernet adapter is available in option.
